FINAL MODEL AND ASSEMBLY

DESCRIPTION:
A BTSM Themed Pokeball to go with the Pokemon themed photoshoot and to giveaway to fans.

MODELING:

Initially designed in Blender, final design created in Autodesk Inventor.

VERSION 1: DESIGNED IN BLENDER

MACHINES:

BambuLab A1

MECHANICS:

Simple materials were used for the hinge and button mechanisms.  The hinge uses a small piece of filament, and the button was assembled carefully with super glue and a pen spring to secure the buckle.

notes & fun facts:

- 12 of these have been made:

​

  1. 4 for the photoshoot, 1 of those were given away in the umbreon helmet giveaway

  2. 5 for church rocks, all of which given away at the meet up

  3. 3 were botched and remain with me and grunglings

​

- These will only ever be giveaways because no one wants to get beaten with the Nintendo hammer

- Pictured: botched ball, today we learn glue choices matter </3

- This was largely inspired by the "trend" on makerworld of the pokeballs designed to look like Pokemon.
